Synch your Shopify store in a few clicks.

Step 1:Get Shopify Credentials and Create and Install Custom HellaBlack App

To get your Shopify credentials, login to your Shopify account. Click on “Apps” on the left panel to create a new app.

Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Develop apps for your store.

Then, click Allow custom app development

Then select Create an app

Then, give your custom app a name, eg. HellaBlack, and enter an email address

Then, select Configure Admin API scopes

and update the following checkboxes with the following access, then hit SAVE

  • Assigned Fulfillment orders - Read & Write access
  • Customers - Read & Write access
  • Discounts - Read & Write access
  • Draft Orders - Read & Write access
  • Fulfillment services - Read & Write access
  • GDPR Data requests - Read access
  • Inventory - Read & Write access
  • Legal Policies - Read & Write access
  • Locations - Read access
  • Merchant-managed fulfillment orders - Read & Write access
  • Order editing - Read & Write access
  • Orders - Read & Write access
  • Price rules - Read & Write access
  • Product listings - Read & Write access
  • Products - Read & Write access
  • Script tags - Read & Write access
  • Shipping - Read & Write access
  • Shop locale - Read & Write access
  • Shopify Payment accounts - Read access
  • Third-party fulfillment orders - Read & Write access

Continue to update all accesses to "Read and write" access until you get to the bottom of the page, then select SAVE

Then , on the API Credentials tab, select "Install app"

 Once you Install app, your Admin API access token will be generated. Select "Reveal token once", and make note of this token key. This Admin API access token will be used in the following steps below.

Step 2: Synch your Shopify Store's custom HellaBlack app

Switch to your HellaBlack Admin Panel, click Website -> Shopify Connector

Next, click on the plus icon to add a new Shopify account.

Next, configure the various settings of merchant account. Here in General settings, enter the Admin API access token, Password, Domain Name and Shop Name from your Shopify account as follows:

Enter your Admin API access token as you noted on Shopify.

Enter your Password = custom

Enter your Shopify Domain Name, eg. XYZCandles.myshopify.com . This can be found in your Shopify URL. (Note: you do not enter https:// , or http:// ) 

Enter your Shopify Shop Name, eg. XYZCandles . 

When all fields are filled, Hit Authenticate button.

Next, switch to "Order settings" tab, Select the Payment Processor and your Shipping method for exporting and importing Shopify orders. Important: You must first setup your shipping method to complete this step. For information on setting up shipping methods, refer to Shipping

Next switch to "Product Setting" tab, select the desired category to which Shopify products get imported and currency. Click on the plus icon to select the HellaBlack category.

When you click on the plus icon, a new popup of HellaBlack category will get opened. Click the category and click “Choose”.

Switch to "Webhook Setting", webhook is created for products updated in real time. After configuring various settings click on Save.

When an admin creates an account, the admin can perform various processes from their Shopify store to their HellaBlack store like Manage Category Mapping, Manage Shopify Shipping Templates, Manage Shopify Products, Import Shopify Orders, Manage Shopify Orders, Edit and Delete Account.

Once you've set up your Shopify Accounts, next please find steps to synch your products:

STEP 3: IMPORT AND SYNCH YOUR PRODUCTS

1. Map New Category

In the category map, admin/seller can map Shopify collections/categories with HellaBlack categories, which will assign products respectively. Then select Map button.

Then, select "Manage Shopify Products" and choose Import Products

2. Manage Shopify Shipping Template:

 In this section, admin can map the shipping zone of Shopify to the shipping location of HellaBlack. Given below is the shipping zone which we can map to HellaBlack

To map shipping locations, go to “Manage Shopify shipping Template”, click on the desired shipping zone to map the shipping location. Now select the shipping location for the respective shipping zone for mapping.

3. Fetch All Orders: 

Admin can import orders from Shopify by clicking on the plus icon. Here an admin can import products with respect to the selected “Date period” and “Fulfillment status”, by “Order Id” and “Order status”. After the date and order status, click on “Import Order”.

Given below is the list of the Shopify orders based on your selection. From here you can import orders to your HellaBlack store.

4. Manage Shopify Orders:

In this section, you can view the exported Shopify orders.

5. Manage Shopify Products:

 In this section, to import products from Shopify, click on “Start Import”.

After clicking, a new popup will get opened. Here admin can import product by collection using both collection smart and custom. In given below screenshot, by choosing the Collection Id, admin can Map products through Smart Collection.

Once clicked on “Map Product”, you will find the list of the products imported from Shopify. To synchronize Shopify products click on “Sync Product”.

An admin can also import product by collection using custom. In given below screenshot, by choosing the Collection Id, admin can Map products through custom Collection.

Once clicked on “Map Product”, you will find the list of the products imported from Shopify through custom. To synchronize Shopify products click on “Sync Product”.

In this section, admin can Delete/Edit their account.
